Surgical splints are used to reposition maxillary bone fragments during orthognathic surgery procedures, according to the pre-operatory plan. The splints are digitally designed and 3D printed of metacrilate. The splint can be realized by the laboratory based on CBCT data, a virtual model and a frontal picture of the patient.
